A dazzling array of festive displays have been lighting up Swaffham’s St Peter and St Paul church this week during the town’s annual Christmas tree festival.
A total of 29 trees, each representing a different town charity or community group have been up in the church since the week-long exhibition opened with a special Advent service on Sunday.
A number of businesses, local schools and care homes have also taken part in the festival, which is now in its fourth year.
Organisers expect a total of around £4,000 will be raised during the week, to be shared between the church and the participating groups. Individual collections are being made for each organisation at their respective trees.
The church is open each day, between 10am and 4pm, until this Sunday for visitors to look around the displays.
