Downham’s annual civic service took place at St Edmund’s Church on Sunday afternoon.
The town’s mayor, John Fox, welcomed civic leaders from across the region to the town alongside his deputy Frank Daymond.
Mr Fox’s brother, Michael, travelled from his home in Ely to play the organ during the service.
Guests included West Norfolk’s deputy mayor, David Whitby, the mayor of Swaffham, Anne Thorp, and other civic leaders from across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Representatives of many town organisations were also among the congregation.
