A new twenty-eight page guide to Hunstanton has been launched by the town's Civic Society today.

Prepared by members of the Society it replaces the Three Trails Leaflet (Hunstanton Town, Hunstanton Cliffs and Old Hunstanton), a leaflet on architect Herbert Ibberson, others on Ringstead Mill, the Hunstanton Gardens Trail and the Hunstanton Plaques Walk.

It also has pages describing the achievements of Henry le Strange and William Butterfield in the design of New Hunstanton, George Skipper who designed the Town Hall, Peter and Alison Smithson who designed Smithdon High School, geological information about the wonderful striped cliffs of Hunstanton and also a map showing the Hunstanton Hall Walk.

Stephen Kent, from the Society, said: “We like to think will be a useful booklet for our residents and visitors to Hunstanton.”
