Classics on show at Swaffham's annual car event
Many people enjoyed the sunshine when they attended the classic car show in Swaffham on Sunday.
The annual event was back with a bang and more than a hundred classics parked up.
A crowd of enthusiasts saw a variety of vehicles ranging from a classic powder blue Beetle and a bright yellow Citroen to three wheelers, on the recreation ground in the town.
The sun shone down on the event, organised by Colin Houghton, who said: “It was a brilliant day, it went really well.
“Some 160 cars turned up and it was absolutely brilliant.
“There was a car boot and a variety of stalls and a crowd of local people and the weather was kind.”
The annual event has had a two -year break due to Covid 19.
Mr Houghton said: “We have got it off the ground again and it is an annual event over the August bank holiday.
“Any money raised from the stalls and the programmes goes towards the maintenance of the recreation ground in Swaffham.”
Youngsters enjoyed playing games including an egg and spoon race.
