The annual Clenchwarton Horticultural and Craft Show was hailed a success by organisers who were thrilled to see a good turnout despite the unpredictable weather.
Carol Hale, show secretary, said: “We were very pleased, it was lovely and enjoyed by all considering the weather. This year we had some new entries from the village which was very good and the schoolchildren were involved as usual.
“We also had stalls including one for a third world charity that accepted donations of knitted clothes. We’re extremely grateful to anyone who donated to the event.”
