A couple of ‘jolly’ sailing scenes from Brancaster Staithe are among the new paintings to be included in Barbara King’s forthcoming solo exhibition in her home village of Ringstead.
These will be accompanied by other paintings featuring the coast and countryside of Norfolk stretching from Lynn to Cromer and inland to the River Wensum.
The exhibits centre largely on the west of the county and the surrounding area reflecting the winsome beauty of the marshes and creeks, the wide expanses of golden beaches at Hunstanton and Brancaster, the rich colours and diversity of the local countryside and a few cows! Further examples of the painting to be included in the exhibition can be seen on the redesigned website www.barbaraking.co.uk
The exhibition is being staged at the village hall at the bottom of the High Street, next door to the recently re-opened Gin Trap Inn; it’s from Saturday, May 23, to Sunday, May 31, 10am to 4pm daily. For further information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 07798 918470.
