A149 Brancaster Main Road closed on April 26 for works

Work is due to start on Tuesday, April 26 to surface dress a section of the A149 Main Road at Brancaster.

The work is phased – subject to suitable weather conditions – to take place between 9.30am and 4pm.

Norfolk County Council stated: "To carry out the work safely it will be necessary to close the A149 Main Road Brancaster to all through traffic at this point for the duration of the works.

"Access to properties will be maintained at all times.

"A fully signed diversion route will be in operation for the duration of the works.

"The County Council thanks people for their patience while this road resurfacing work is carried out."

The work, which will cost £17,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors Tarmac and Keir Highway Services.
