Truckeast's commercial vehicle operation at Lynn has had a complete facelift and created more jobs.

The newly-revamped Scania depot officially opened its doors this month to reveal a larger, better equipped, more environmentally-friendly operation.

Located on Hamlin Way, the depot now measures a total of 4,000sq metres creating space for a larger yard area, a new workshop, and more office room.

With the extra space now available, the branch has created four new jobs for the local area increasing the workforce from ten to 14 people.

To help reduce the impact of carbon emissions, energy saving features have been installed throughout the site, including the use of efficient LED lighting, full insulation, and skylights - all in the ongoing effort to become as sustainable a business as possible.

Neil Ryder, depot manager said: “The addition of the new workshop is exactly what we needed here in King's Lynn. We are now better equipped to provide more efficient workshop services making it easier for our team to continue to provide the first-class service that our customers deserve.
