Fire crews assist ambulance over concerns for welfare of man at Bridge Road in Downham Market




Emergency services rushed to a town road due to concerns for a man’s welfare in the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews were sent to Bridge Road in Downham at 12.20am - including those from Methwold and Lynn.

An ambulance and paramedic car were also at the scene where the patient was located, but no onward transport was needed.

Firefighters used a surface water rescue boat to assist the medical team until 12.59am.
