More than 70 tractors take part in annual Grimston Tractor run in aid of village church
More than 70 tractors chugged around West Norfolk villages to celebrate Grimston’s annual tractor run on Sunday.
It is the 14th year that the event has taken place, seeing a convoy of tractors take part in a 25-mile round trip travelling through Grimston, Pott Row, Gayton Thorpe, Anmer and Great Massingham.
The event, which farmer Roger Coe leads, is held each year to raise funds for St Botolph’s Church in Grimston.
Before tractor drivers set off in the morning, they had hot drinks and bacon rolls at Mr Coe’s farm.
Mr Coe then held a country fayre in the afternoon, which the tractors returned to when they came back from the tour.
It is a popular event which villagers look forward to every year.
Visitors enjoyed music, steam engines, a bar, homemade cakes and strawberries and cream as well as a raffle, barbecue and games.
