Coronavirus: West Norfolk surgery 'open as normal' following temporary closure for 'precautionary deep clean'

A West Norfolk doctors surgery has said it is "open as normal" following a deep clean yesterday morning.

Feltwell Surgery, on Old Brandon Road, was closed for a short period for the clean, which they said was a "precautionary measure".

The news came on the same day in which the World Health Organization (WHO) labelled the coronavirus as a pandemic.

A post on the surgery's Facebook page yesterday said: "The surgery is open as normal.

"We closed for a short period early this morning for a deep clean, this was just a precautionary measure.

"The phone lines and dispensary were fully operational during this time. Thank you."
