Costa Coffee to open new Necton drive-thru store
The doors to the new long-awaited Costa Coffee drive-thru store at Necton will open for business on Wednesday.
The outlet, on Rudge Way, next to the Co op store which opened in June, will welcome customers from 7am, with the first 100 being offered a free bacon roll.
Fourteen new jobs have been created and staff have been busy training to perfect the art of creating perfect cups of coffee.
Area manager of Costa Coffee Abbie Hargrave, said: “We’re delighted to be opening this new drive-thru store. Our 14 new team members have been working hard to get the store ready for the big launch.
"We have a fantastic opening day planned for customers, with an amazing opportunity for the first 100 customers to get a free bacon roll. There will be free balloons and activity packs to keep the children entertained, so parents can sit back, relax and enjoy our signature coffees.”
And store manager Jasmine Hall said: “The store’s baristas have been busy perfecting their handcrafted coffee skills ready for customers to enjoy.
"We have the advantage that all the team members are from the local Necton and Swaffham area as this creates a real community feel to the store.
"We can’t wait to be an active part of the local community, getting involved in events, utilising the store as a meeting place and helping with fundraising.”
Coffee enthusiasts will be able to pick up handcrafted coffee, such as the brand's iconic 'Flat White' which features Costa Coffee’s Mocha Italia signature blend.
It hopes its location next to the Co op store will attract more customers in addition to those passing through on the A47.

Visitors to the store can choose to accompany their drinks with a tasty treat, including a range of tempting toasted paninis, a variety of delicious salads, such as the British Harissa Chicken & Grain Salad and sumptuous sweet delicacies, including Glazed Apple Tart and New York Style Vanilla Cheesecake.
