A new crossing and combined foot and cycle path will be installed close to a Swaffham housing development in a 16 week project starting next month, it has been announced.
The work on Brandon Road, which is due to start on Monday, August 3, is taking place to meet the planning conditions of the Abel Homes development, which was approved in April last year.
A new toucan crossing will be installed south of the Sandringham Way junction.
Almost 400 metres of shared footpath and cycleway will be built as part of the project, while a section of the road will be resurfaced and new street light columns will be installed.
Temporary lights will be in place during the work, with a convoy in operation during the resurfacing.
