LEARN MOREEmergency crews spent several hours tackling a blaze near a West Norfolk village last night.
Units were called to a fire on open ground in Abbey Road, Pentney, shortly after 9pm on Friday.
The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said units from Lynn and Thetford, as well as a water carrier from Fakenham, were sent to the area and the blaze was reported to have been put out shortly after 1am.
Earlier in the day, units from Lynn and Hunstanton were called to a similar blaze in Bawsey. The incident was reported shortly after 3.40pm.
