Firefighters sent to commercial building blaze on Brook Lane in Brookville, near Methwold




Firefighters were called to a commercial building blaze in a West Norfolk village yesterday evening.

Crews from Methwold, Thetford and Lynn were sent to the scene of the fire on Brook Lane in Brookville, near Methwold, at around 7.30pm and spent more than two hours there.

According to Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, firefighters used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish it.

“A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots,” the service’s incident log says.

“The stop message was received at 9.49pm.”
