Hunstanton man to appear in court after hoax bomb threat

A Hunstanton man has been charged with making a hoax bomb threat in the town this weekend.

Tony Ding, 21, of Elizabeth Close, Hunstanton, is due to appeaar in court today (Tuesday 21 October) charged with one count of communicating false information in relation to a bomb hoax on Sunday, October 19.

Ding is accused of falsely reporting a bomb was present close by to Hunstanton Police Station.

Ding was arrested shortly after the call close to the scene and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He was later charged and remanded in custody to appear before King’s Lynn Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 21 October).
