Members of West Norfolk Islamic Society (WNIA) have condemned the Paris atrocities.
The statement said: “The WNIA unequivocally condemns the barbarous acts of murder, perpetrated in the heart of Paris, which has resulted in the loss of innocent lives and caused an untold number of injuries.
“No words can describe the utter repulsion felt by the Muslim community in West Norfolk at the loss and injury of human life.
“The WNIA would like to reiterate that the true message of Islam is one of Peace, Justice, Freedom and the love of humanity.”
It concluded: “Our sympathy and prayers go to the families of the victims, we pray for them as we pray for the defeat of extremism and terrorism, we pray for peace, security and harmony to triumph in our country and the rest of the world.”
