Norfolk’s new police and crime commissioner, Lorne Green, will face his first meeting of the county’s police and crime panel next week.
Snettisham resident Mr Green, who was elected last month, is expected to outline his proposals for a public consultation to take place on his police and crime plan.
Police and crime commissioners are legally required to publish the document to set out their objectives for reducing crime and disorder in the police force area for their term in post. The new plan will cover the period up until 2020.
The consultation is expected to begin later this month and run until mid-August, with a series of public events planned around the county.
A draft proposal, along with the results of the consultation, are scheduled to be published in September.
The panel meeting takes place at Norfolk Police headquarters in Wymondham on Wednesday, June 15, from 10am.
