Police appeal over handbag theft from King’s Lynn restaurant

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man and woman they want to speak to in connection with an alleged theft of a handbag from a fast food restaurant in Lynn last month.

The incident is said to have happened in the McDonalds premises in High Street, sometime between 2pm and 2.20pm on Monday, October 27.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said a young girl left her red handbag, which containined a black iPod and purse, under a table in the restaurant.

Anyone who can help to identify the man or woman pictured, or who has any other information about the incident, is asked to contact PC Michael Futter at Lynn Police Station via the non-emergency 101 number.
