Crowds head to West Norfolk coast as temperatures soar
Plenty of people have been making the most of it today as West Norfolk basks in a mini-heatwave.
Hot air spreading up from continental Europe means the Mercury here has soared well past 30 degrees Celsius today.
But, if the heat isn't your thing, then the coast is the place to be and many have been enjoying the sunshine in Hunstanton.
The hot weather today, and the prospects of a fine weekend after the potential for storms later today, means it is also busy on the roads, with queues reported on the A149, A47 and A17.
Traffic in some places is running at just 15 miles per hour, according to AA Roadwatch.
A yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office for thunderstorms is due to come into force at 4pm and continue until midnight, but more sunny weather is expected tomorrow and on Sunday, though temperatures will be cooler than today.
