Crufts success for King's Lynn woman

A Lynn woman won the Best in Breed at Crufts on Thursday.

Stacey Watkins, 34, was presented with the award for her two-year-old male Eurasier called Blue.

Having won the title in 2019 as well, Stacey said: “Winning means a lot. I think it’s quite a privilege to win at Crufts and to be representing the breed here.

“It’s nice to know the judges think so much of Blue to award him the title of Best in Breed again. Blue thinks everybody should love him and he’s a real show off.”

Out of the ring and back at home in Lynn, Blue likes to jump on the children's climbing frames, rolling on the sofa and chasing rabbits.

Crufts is one year shy of its 130th anniversary and takes place at the NEC in Birmingham with up to 20,000 dogs competing.

This includes more than 3,000 pooches from overseas.

Channel 4 has the broadcast rights to televise the event in the UK with Clare Balding as the presenter.
