Hunstanton youngster Cynthia Waterfield sells bracelets to raise funds for Little Discoverers - which helps sister

An enthusiastic seven-year-old worked hard over the summer holidays to raise money for a children’s charity in Lynn.

Cynthia Waterfield from Hunstanton has been fundraising for the Little Discoverers ‘School for Parents Network’ after her little sister attended sessions with the charity.

Terrianne has been attending sessions for two years and has worked to improve her physical communication, personal skills and more during this time.

Cynthia therefore decided to sell Loom Band bracelets in her family’s sweet shop, Thompson’s Candy and Cream in Hunstanton.

She has raised £250 for the charity. Cynthia and her family visited a session to hand over the funds raised and to watch her little sister taking part.

Kat Hunter, team leader at Little Discoverers, said: “It’s always wonderful when someone decides to raise money for Little Discoverers, but there is something extra special about children raising money to benefit other children.

“Cynthia was so humble when the families and children thanked her, and we are very proud of what a wonderful big sister she is. Thank you, Cynthia.”
