Students at Lynn dance school Studio19 are busy rehearsing for their show at the Corn Exchange this month.
This fun-filled evening will be a mix of ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, tap and commercial.
Studio19, based in Bergen Way, North Lynn, was set up by husband and wife Josh and Vicki Wille last August, after both had been working professionally for the previous eight years.
Vicki was the first British dancer to join the Estonian National Ballet and Josh worked with Phoenix Dance Theatre in Leeds and also performed in the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony; he is currently working with Vincent Dance Theatre in Brighton along with running Studio19.
Josh said: “We are extremely proud and impressed by the improvement of all of our students in the past nine months and know that our audience will not be disappointed. There is something for everyone in the show, from baby ballet to adult tap.
“We have a very strong group of dancers and performers at Studio19 and this showcase is a chance to witness and support local talent.
“Our aim is to offer current and up-to-date dance and performance training at the highest level. We also believe in the health and wellbeing benefits of dance and fitness and strive to teach our students how to live a healthy lifestyle.”
The show is at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 12 and tickets are available at the Corn Exchange box office on 01553 764864; further information is also available at website at www.studio9teen.com
