'Dangerous building' shuts Fakenham street

A Fakenham street is set to be closed overnight because of a dangerous building.

North Norfolk District Council officials have apologised on social media after Norwich Street was shut this afternoon.

But they insist the move is necessary on safety grounds.

In a Twitter post a short time ago, the authority said it hopes to have the road open again tomorrow.

The one-way street is the base for a number of small businesses.
