Death of elderly Swaffham woman 'not suspicious', say police

LEARN MOREPolice have confirmed the death of an elderly woman whose body was found at a house in Swaffham is not being treated as suspicious.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out today following the discovery of a woman, believed to be in her 90s, at an address in Highfield Avenue late on Friday night.
In a statement this afternoon, Norfolk Police said the woman's death was still being treated as unexplained, it is not thought to be suspicious.
Further tests will be undertaken in an effort to establish the exact cause of death. However, a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
