Decade of photos for Watlington pupil
Karen Faulkes has been taking a photo of her son Archie Foreman every birthday for the last 10 years.
The tradition of taking the photo started on December 1, a decade ago with Archie sitting at the bottom of their home stairs holding a phone to his ear.
Now 10-years-old Archie, who is a pupil at Watlington Primary school has shown the transformation over the years.
Karen said: "Archie loves to see the transformation of himself.
"I love to see how he is changing into a young man.
"I plan on doing it until he is 18, so he can show his children one day."
The tradition is related to the lead up to Christmas and Archie is always smartly dressed.
More recently wearing a jolly Christmas jumper, the pictures are out printed each time.
Karen said: "It's just a Christmas thing.
"I plan on putting them in a big album when he is 18 as a Christmas present."
Karen intends to take a photo up until Archie is 18 and hopes that he still enjoys the tradition of the stairs selfie.
Karen said: "He might not think it's very cool at 15 or 16!"
