Deer rescued from King's Lynn railing trap by firefighters

A deer had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in some Lynn railings during the early hours of this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Kettlewell Lane, where the Muntjac was reported to be in difficulty shortly after 1.40am today.

Officials say the crews spent around 30 minutes working to free the animal.

Earlier in the night, units tackled a blaze on open ground in River Road, West Walton, which was reported just before 9.30pm on Tuesday.
