Downham Market WaffleOpolis store to reopen after disappointing closing weekend

Downham's WaffleOpolis store is set to reopen tomorrow - just one week after it was supposed to close for good.

The dessert chain announced earlier this month that it would be shutting its Downham store due to growing economic instability.

However, it was forced to close earlier than planned - and staff have now decided to welcome customers back for this weekend.

A Facebook post from WaffleOpolis read: "Due to your amazing support and disappointment to us closing early on our last weekend we have decided to open this weekend".

The Wales Court business will be open tomorrow and Sunday from midday until 10pm.

It appears that this will serve as a replacement closing weekend, but it remains unclear. WaffleOpolis has been approached for comment.
