Halloween is out of the way and Christmas is creeping up fast, so here's what is being organised for the season.
The annual window decorating competition is back and more Christmassy than ever.
Prizes will be awarded for the most extravagant, creative, and excessively festive displays.
Keep your eyes peeled for a 6ft gingerbread family who’ll be setting up camp in the Vancouver Quarter, and don’t miss your chance to grab a selfie in the giant illuminated present on the Tuesday Market Place from the end of November.
Supporting West Norfolk Council’s switch-on event on Sunday, November 21, will be roaming street entertainment from 1pm onwards plus a gazebo for local food and drink traders on Tuesday Market Place.
There will be weekly street entertainment featuring two acts every Saturday leading up to Christmas to create a great atmosphere for shoppers and a buzz around the town.
Acts include a live jazz band, Christmas stilt walkers, cheeky elves, and living gingerbread men.
A Christmas Market is due in the town centre on December 11 and 12 from 10am until 3pm with around 30 stallholders each day, selling their local, handcrafted products.
People from far and wide will be brought together in the town centre for great festive days out.
