School children in one West Norfolk village have been getting creative ahead of a major community event this weekend.

Youngsters at Docking Primary School have been busy creating a specially-themed treasure hunt course ahead of the village's annual Hare Fair tomorrow.

The Hare Course will take visitors around the church, churchyard and school field and will provide clues towards a special keyword.

Members of the school's Parents Teachers and Friends group will be running the course during the seventh annual fair, which is on at St Mary's Church from 10am until 4pm.

Attractions will include a market in the church with stalls offering fabrics, jewellery, metalwork, wooden goods and food, art displays, stalls and games, plus a visit from wildlife photographer and film-maker Martin Hayward Smith.
