Driver failed to stop after killing dog in Fakenham





Police have launched an appeal after a dog was killed when it was hit by a vehicle in Fakenham.

Officers were told that the fox red Labrador had been struck at around 6.30pm on Friday.

The incident occurred on Holt Road, close to the BP petrol filling station.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage has been urged to contact PC Henry Forwood at Norfolk Police on 101 or via henry.forwood1@norfolk.police.uk quoting incident number 520 of November 3.
