Dog-walkers unite at awareness event

A woman from Downham has joined dozens of dog-walkers at an event to raise awareness of the breed.
Lorraine Bullman took part in the Great Global Greyhound Walk at Brandon Country Park on Sunday, June 10, which also raised funds for the Lynn branch of the Greyhound Trust.
Lorraine said 74 hounds walked on the day, which also included a variety of fun and games following the walk to fundraise for the branch.
The charity was also successful in rehoming a greyhound, she added.
