King’s Lynn Queen Elizabeth Hospital receives donation from Hunstanton and District Rotary Club

A team of nurses at a hospital in Lynn has received a tech donation from a Rotary club.

On Monday, June 5, six members of Hunstanton and District Rotary visited the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to present Elaine Rudd, a specialist breast care nurse and her team, with an IPAD Pro.

The IPAD will be used for patients in the breast care unit who have or are considering reconstruction.

Pictures are taken along the journey to show patients the before and after and also to help women get an idea of what can be achieved.

The tech can also be used to assess and monitor progress.

Funds were collected last year in two events in the High Street and Ski Café in Hunstanton with buntings made with bras which were then sent to Africa.
