Full 'Flower' Moon coincides with supermoon over West Norfolk




You can't have helped but notice that there is a rather big Moon appearing at present.T.

Tonight's full moon (May 7) is known as the 'Flower Moon' and in addition it will be a 'supermoon' when the Moon is closest to the Earth in its monthly orbit.

It was named the Flower Moon by early Native American tribes because of the abundance of flowers at this time of year. the next full moon, in June, will be called the Strawberry Moon.
