Downham couple show us that love comes in all shapes and sizes

A couple from Downham Market have been talking to EVE TAWFICK of the Lynn News about their unconventional love life.
We have respected their request to withold their names but for reasons that will become obvious simply refer to them as Wolf and Bunny.
Talking to Bunny, 46, and Wolf, 36, you can see that they share a deep connection. Wolf is tall and handsome and Bunny has a beaming, contagious smile.
They met four years ago on a night out and now run a business in the town together.
Bunny said, “When I saw him I just thought 'wow'. I don't believe in love at first sight, but there was a very strong attraction. As we got to know each other we then learned that we shared a lot interests and opinions, we are both activists and we have similar tastes in music – so there was a friendship as well.
“We like to do the free hugs as well that's something we do together.”
The ten year age gap didn't put the couple off. “When you like someone's soul, none of that other stuff matters.” says Wolf, beside a smiling Bunny, “It's all about giving to each other, all the time.”
As to why the couple have the alter egos 'Wolf' and 'Bunny', the couple reveal that it all started as a nickname and later blossomed into the bedroom.
“He always called me Bunny and one day I just called him Mr Wolf. It's a big part of our sex life but we aren't 'furries'. Although we do enjoy cosplay.”
Furries are a fetish subculture with sexual connotations that involves acting and dressing as animals. This isn't what Wolf and Bunny do although they do have masks.
“It's a kind of character but it's not role-play. When my partner is 'Wolf' I feel nurtured and protected, the first time I ever told him I loved him was when he was Wolf. He has a very masculine role in our relationship, even though I am independent and we have a very equal partnership.

Chiara Bautista is a 38-year-old Mexican artist who specialises in delicate pieces with potent meaning. She has a series involving a wolf and a rabbit, who share love and adventures together. Despite being predator and prey – they are conjoined spiritually and the wolf uses his superior strength to protect rather than kill the rabbit. Likewise the rabbit, will ride the wolf through the wilderness like a steed, placing him in a submissive role where she harnesses his will.
“When we get into our roles it's a very deep spiritual and sexual connection, it's also a really fun way to get out of your own head and explore. I don't bounce around the house or anything.
“We've always had an amazing sex life from day one, there was so much chemistry – now it's evolved, we have grown and a couple and we do involve other partners.”
When how she dealt with jealousy Bunny said:“At first I was jealous, but I've worked on that and now I'm not jealous anymore it's a great feeling. When we invite others into our bedroom it's a mutual thing, we don't do it seperatley. We usually do a three or a four. Wolf isn't jealous at all, he really taught me how to deal with that. Now the only thing i'm jealous about is if his Merlot glass is fuller than mine!
“You can't find everything you need in one partner. I was very restricted in my previous marriage – now I've got someone wild to run with. We are totally free, that's the best part, there's a lot of trust.”
Some may find their unconventional love life off-putting, others will see a heartwarming story that teaches us that love comes in all different shapes and sizes and that a relationship doesn't have to correlate with societal norms in order to flourish.
Bunny said: “He accepts me for my weirdness and I do the same and we've just grown and expanded as people. I'm so glad I met him I'm the woman I want to be.”
