Downham Market gets in the Platinum Jubilee spirit with events on the square

The sun is out on the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday as Downham residents fill up the square to celebrate the 70th year of Queen Elizabeth II on the throne.

Revellers can be seen enjoying refreshments in the sunshine wrapped in the Union Jack flag.

The jubilee celebrations have kicked off in West Norfolk, with a variety of events planned for today, tomorrow and the weekend all over the borough.
