Downham Market Academy showcases stunning student artwork

Last Friday, Downham Market Academy transformed into a contemporary gallery as it exhibited A-Level and GCSE artwork.

The themes for this year were 'order and disorder' and 'reflections'.

Students used a variety of mixed mediums from pencil to acrylic to create contrasting and striking pieces.

Phoebe Durant, pictured, wanted to do hair and beauty at college but the academy encouraged her to follow her artistic passions before moving on to a college course.

She is pictured standing next to her work.
