Downham Market by-election result is huge win for trader

Results came in yesterday for the Downham by-election.

Tony Leach, of Barroway drove, won the election by 438 votes.

Emily Champion had 79 votes.

Mr Leach is the brother of marker trader Belinda Leach and they own a pet food stall in town.

Ms Leach was one of the traders that lost, and regained her licence to trade in recent weeks.
