The Chinese New Year was celebrated in style in Downham earlier this week.
The James Uglow Lion Dancers wowed the crowds in the town square on Monday when they performed a Lion Dance.
Youngsters from Downham’s primary schools also attended the event, which has become a key date in the town’s events calendar.
The event is organised by Downham Town Council’s events committee and has been held for nearly seven years.
This is the year of the Monkey and it looks from some of our pictures that the dancers enjoyed a sense of mischief with the youngsters during the event.
