Downham Market driver signals for police to cross the road...while using mobile phone

By Lynn News Reporter

A driver waved a police officer over the road, while using a mobile phone when behind the wheel.

King's Lynn Police posted on social media about the incident, which took place in Downham Market on Saturday evening.

The post said: "It’s polite to wave someone across the road, however doing it to an officer in full uniform on footbeat whilst using your mobile phone isn’t the smartest of moves.

"Driver stopped shortly after and reported for the offence in Downham Market."
