Downham and District NSPCC raised £3,453 for the charity during the biennial Fun with Food and Flowers day in the town hall.
Visitors enjoyed cookery demonstrations by award winning East Anglian cook Mary Kemp during the morning which was followed by a buffet lunch.
In the afternoon, the audience watched a Christmas themed flowering arranging demonstration by Alan Smith.
Both demonstrators donated their creations to the raffle at the end of the afternoon.
Downham Market District Committee of the NSPCC raises several thousand pounds for the cause every year. Last year’s event raised £3,378.00.
