Downham Market pupils say #HelloYellow for World Mental Health Day

Meditation, poetry and lots of yellow outfits showed a Downham school’s support for World Mental Health Day today.

Nelson Academy participated in the charity Young Minds’ nationwide #HelloYellow event to raise awareness of the importance of young people’s mental health, and also to fundraise for the cause.

Pupils in all year groups were taking part in wellbeing activities, including ecotherapy – by talking about their emotions while outdoors – and playing music to express themselves.
