A club in Downham which supports local good causes has handed over a cheque for £1,000 to the town’s Dementia Support Association.
Downham Rotary Club, which has donated some £110,000 during the last eight years to help those in need, handed over the funds at the town’s Dementia Café which meets in the Methodist Church.
The funds will enable the café to continue to expand its work, its manager said.
