Six members of Downham Market High School’s sixth form’s business department held a fundraising darts event as part of our business course in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK. The event consisted of four teams made up of students and teachers alike. The hall was filled on both days of the event with some 70 students. Year 12 students Tom Redcar and Matthew Wright were the first pair to qualify for the grand final where they faced Lewis Haynes and Atlanta Bailey. With lots of large and popular prizes donated from to the raffle by local businesses the final was won by Tom and Matthew Wright after a close match. The event raised £200 – a result to be proud of. The organisers from left to right are Alex Bancroft, Lewis Mills, Shannon Bishop, Richard Nevin, Harry Tilburn, and Peter Matthews.
