Downham Market supermarket relaunches following multi-million pound revamp
A Downham supermarket has been relaunched this morning following a multi-million pound makeover.
The layout of the Morrisons store has been altered and new departments have been added following suggestions from shoppers and staff.
The supermarket, at Maltings Mall, was officially relaunched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning, with help from Downham mayor Becky Hayes.
Wider aisles and new ranges including Nutmeg clothing have been added to the store's shelves.
Store manager Callum Pilgrim said: “As a result of listening to our loyal customers, we are pleased to offer a bigger range of products, in particular Free From and Home and Leisure.
"The store has a new look and feel and customer facilities have been upgraded, I would like to thank both the customers and colleagues for their patience during these changes and I look forward to their continued support."
