Downham Market's former mayor elected as new councillor

LEARN MORERobin Arthur Pegg has won an an uncontested election to fill a councillor vacancy in Downham.
The election was scheduled for February 17, but as Mr Pegg was the only election candidate Downham council announced he had been elected on Monday.
Mr Pegg who is a former police officer,is returning to the council after a stint as both mayor and councillor and is well known around the town.
