Downham Market's Nelson Academy takes part in Roald Dahl Day celebrations




Youngsters at a West Norfolk school were all dressed up to celebrate Roald Dahl Day on Thursday.

Pupils and staff from the Nelson Academy in Downham are pictured above in an array of costumes depicting some of the author’s most famous characters.

Principal Sarah Wilson said: “Creative costumes linked in to lessons about the famous author and his many stories in class.
