Downham Starbucks and McDonald's bid should go ahead, say borough planning officers




Planning officials have backed contentious proposals to build new McDonald's and Starbucks outlets on the edge of Downham.

A decision on the scheme, proposed for a site just off the Bexwell roundabout, is due to be made at a West Norfolk Council planning committee meeting on June 1.

But agenda papers, published today, show borough council planning officers have recommended that the scheme is approved by committee members.
