The Come and Sing Company of Downham win two top online awards in a week
A Downham based firm has received a business boost from retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis as well as being named Business of the Week by Bright Pig.
Recently the co-founders of the Come And Sing Company (CASC), Ellie Bowers-Jolley and Tom Appleton, sent a tweet to Theo about his business during Small Business Sunday. CASC were chosen as one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.
Bright Pig, who provide online marketing support, also liked the Come and Sing Company’s vision and they named them their business of the week too.
As a result of the support received, the Come and Sing Company have seen a dramatic increase in online traffic and plenty of new orders.
Ellie, a former student at Fakenham College, said: "The Come and Sing Company aims to bring people together in song. We work with businesses, schools, healthcare providers, community hubs, the National Trust, amateur choirs, festivals and churches to help create greater social cohesion.
"Despite having been trading for less than a year, it is an amazing pat on the back to receive these two awards in quick succession. They go some way to recognising the significant impact that our work is having on lives across the country already.
"To celebrate these two awards, we’re currently offering a 10 per cent discount on all of our team building, motivation, and workplace well-being workshops for a limited time."
The CASC has gone from strength to strength said Ellie. "We have been astounded by its success and have had many interesting projects come our way. We have had lots of inquiries, particularly about corporate projects."
