Police have broken up an unlicensed music event taking place near Hockwold this morning.
Around 60 people are thought to have been present at the rave, which was found by officers at around 5.45am today. The music was eventually switched off at around 9am.
Sound equipment has been seized and investigations are continuing into the incident.
Superintendent Malc Cooke, of Norfolk Police, said: “These events disturb local communities. They are unplanned and therefore have no safety reviews built into how they are organised.
“They can often be in remote locations with no consideration as to how blue light services might respond to an emergency or medical issue. We have seized equipment from the scene and will continue our enquiries.”
Anyone with information about the event is asked to contact Norfolk Police via the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 60 of April 2.
